ATOA's 10 Year Anniversary
With the beginning of 2010 the ATOA celebrates its 10th year of supporting tactical teams across Alabama. Formed in 2000, the ATOA has members from across the state, the region and one member in far-off Sweden. The association has been a conduit for networking, training, investigations and friendships among our members and the agencies they represent. Our 10th year anniversary will be marked by the Tactical Operations Conference (TOC-10)in Lee County, AL. Lee County SWAT is putting together the line up of training and competition events.

NOTE: NEW ADDITION TO THE WEBSITE
You can now submit membership application and update your information by using the form on the bottom of the Membership Page. This form is for use by individuals, teams and all types of membership. Please feel free to update you or your team's information.
We will also be adding a registration page for ATOA Events soon.
These improvements should streamline our efforts to maintain records and plan training events.
If you have any training event you want added to the website, please send it to ATOA1@aol.com. Please include all information that you normally see on the Events Calendar. *Special Note on Conference Funding* The Tactical Operations Conference 2009 relied solely on funding from membership dues, APOSTC and DHS for the purpose of providing our membership with a quality training experience. 1. All ATOA members with current 2009 dues did not pay a conference fee. All other ATOA members were allowed to pay their 2009 dues at (or before) the 2009 Conference and also attended with no conference fee. 2. All dues collected will be carried forward and credited for 2010 dues. The Executive Board hopes this provided the membership an opportunity to attend the Conference during the economic times our country has found itself in. We hope this will also encourage the membership to get caught up on dues and to recruit new members.
IMPORTANT!
