“Armor
of God Project” The Armor of God Project
was formed in 2009 and has partnered with Ten-Four Ministries (www.tenfourministries.org)
to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and supply outdated body armor to Law
Enforcement Officers in After a mission trip to
the On August 20, 2008 a day after being issued a vest from Muscle Shoals, a ranking Philippine Police Officer was involved in a shooting with three carjacking suspects and the officer was shot point blank in the chest. The 9mm round struck the trauma plate stopping the bullet and the officer’s life was saved. The officers returned fire and all three suspects were killed. There are two things that will never change in Law Enforcement. The first is our mission to protect and serve our communities and fellow citizens. The second is our commitment to working as a team to accomplish that mission, and that mission has grown more dangerous each and every day. How do we protect our
fellow Police Officers on the street while at the same time protect our
communities from crime? I believe through partnerships and technology, our
strength is in our commitment to teamwork. Men and women who are dedicated to
protecting others from violence should not become a victim. Whether you serve in
an agency here in I ask each of you to partner with us in supporting the “Armor of God Project” by donating your outdated body armor and help make the streets safer for our fellow officers. We will arrange for the pick up and delivery of the vest at no cost to you and you and your agency will be receive a hold harmless release of liability for the donation. Please feel free to contact me at: reck@mspolice.org or 256-383-6746 Thank you, Clint Reck Lieutenant, Muscle Shoals Police FBI NA 227 Secretary, ATOA
